About JD Richey

Captain JD Richey has been a full-time fishing guide since 1998 and is licensed in California, Nevada and Alaska.

He’s written thousands of fishing articles for magazines and newspapers across the country, including Salmon Trout Steelheader, Field & Stream, Fish Alaska, Western Outdoors and Guidefitter Journal. JD’s is also the host of the popular program FishWithJD TV.

JD’s a highly sought speaker on the sportsman’s show circuit and a regular guest on regional and national radio and TV shows.

In his “spare time,” JD writes and maintains the popular online fishing magazine, FishwithJD.
